Cesaroni Design worked concurrently with Sub-Zero's Engineering team to design this new ice maker. This undercounter appliance is developed to properly make and store ice.

Much like restaurant-type ice makers, the storage bin is not refrigerated. Instead, it is heavily insulated similar to a picnic cooler or ice chest. The storage bin design eliminates ice freezing together into one large cluster. This design builds up ice high enough to contact the thermostat sensor tube in the ice storage bin, and then will shut off.

The new appliance is complete with an ice scoop design that can be placed in the holder provided.
