Cesaroni Design worked with HAWK International
to develop a new recreational product line. Our product designers
were challenged to aesthetically integrate the components in
both open and closed configurations without compromising functionality.
The project team chose to manufacture this new recreational
product from welded tubular steel and injection molded ABS.
This manufacturing method unites the folding tubes to the plastic
enclosures and wheels with semi organic forms fitting together
like a puzzle.
Cesaroni Design consumer product design firm developed a lightweight
device with a foldable frame for ease of transportation and
compact storage. The wide wheelbase combined with low center
of gravity and battery forward design provides stability on
uneven ground.
The unique external connection to the battery port makes recharging
the battery simple for consumers by eliminating the need to
remove the battery from the product.
