Cesaroni Design worked with HAWK International
to design a new line of powered golf caddies. The product designers
were challenged to aesthetically integrate the components in
both open and closed configurations, without compromising its
functionality.
Constructed of welded tubular steel and injection molded ABS,
the aesthetic design solution unites the folding tubes to the
plastic enclosures and wheels with semi-organic forms, fitting
together like a puzzle. The lightweight caddy is collapsible
for compact storage and transportation. The foldable frame allows
the product to be collapse in a few seconds, without any assembly
or disassembly.
A high-tech rubberized front wheel and wide track rear wheels
provide superior traction for smooth turning capabilities. Its
wide wheelbase combined with low center of gravity and battery-forward
design provides superior stability on uneven ground.
The caddy can be operated with the touch control panel affixed
to the adjustable handle, or with a handheld remote control.
The golf caddy's unique external connection to the battery port
makes recharging the battery simple by eliminating the need
to remove the battery from the product. The caddy is complete
with a storage compartment to hold a beverage, cell phone and
scorecard.
