Project Description: Consumer Products

Design Team: Cesaroni Design & Plano Molding Company

Cesaroni Design along with Plano Molding Company created this consumer product. The project goal was to develop a unit that was easy to transport and large enough for storage.

We worked closely with Plano's product development team throughout the industrial design process. The product designers generated sketches and 3d renderings to evaluate design concepts and assist our client in the decision making process.

This storage system is designed to tilt on two heavy-duty wheels to serve as a rolling work station. The design team developed a strong handle so that the system is easy to maneuver.

We developed a flip top lid to give consumers access to tools from the top and front. This design component also creates a work surface for the user. More bulky power tools can be placed in the lower storage compartment. The team also created a bar and latch for security.
